Best Resort during Thanksgiving

Hello--We are going to be at WDW at Thanksgiving. Planned on staying at POR because we loved it the last 3 times we stayed, however, this am my hubbie mentioned something about staying at a deluxe resort.

Can I get some opinions on what you think about the deluxe resorts during the holidays. Is it worth the price difference from the moderate? Any thing special happening or a must see at the resorts during this time?

Any opinions would be greatly appreciated. I love this site and reading about what everyone thinks. Thanks

We've stayed at WL twice now, and it is gorgeous. The holiday decorations are beautiful, and the atmosphere is very serene. We enjoy Port Orleans as well, but for not a lot more money, you get a lot more at WL, IMHO.

I just checked prices--it will be about $1500 more--Not sure IMO if that is worth it. What do you think?
