New Tinkerbelle "Attraction" at Disneyland

"A Tinker Bell attraction will open at Disneyland in October. This was the first time Grier mentioned the attraction, and he was short on details. All he would say is that "we know how special she is to all our guests" and that she will be in Disneyland in October. That timing coincides with the Oct. 28 Disney DVD and Blu-ray release of "Tinker Bell," the first in a new franchise of original movies that include the Peter Pan-movie character along with other fairies."

Word is this will not be an actual "attraction" but a meet and greet possibly housed in the old Fantasyland Skyway building.

Sounds most likely, I agree. Probably will be like the Ariel Meet and Greet they have on the side of the path from Fantasyland to Tomorrowland.

However, Tink merchandise is EVERYWHERE at DLR (probably WDW too). She is very popular these days...so it sounds about time for at least a Meet and Greet.

I hope the meet and greet will last until New Years 2009. So people can get a change to meet Tinkerbell and the others. Do you think they will also add Blue Fairy,Merryweather,Fairy Godmother and the others besides Tink's.

It has been confirmed that this will be a meet and greet. It will replace Ariels Grotto.

Ariel will appear in the Princess Fantasy Faire at the Fantasyland Theatre. She will appear without here fins, she will be in her "mortal" state, ie with legs.

A new meet and greet for her will eventually be rebuilt in DCA near the new Little Mermaid Dark Ride planned for the Paradise Pier section of DCA.
