Just wondering how the crowds are this week, possibly planning for this time next year.:mickey:

We just got back on Saturday. Normally, we go in the summer months (June or August). This is my first time going in April in a long time.

I would have to say that the crowds were manageable. Not to say that it wasn't crowded. There were definitely a lot of school trips because of Disney Music Days, spring breaks in the northeast, and senior trips.

If you utilize fast pass and EMH in the parks, you can easily get through attractions efficiently. The longest wait we saw in a stand-by line was for Soarin' at 2.5 to 3 hours last week Wednesday. Fast passes for Test Track, Mission Space and Soarin' were out by mid-afternoon.

At Magic Kingdom, POTC was about a 25 minute wait. Haunted Mansion about 15. Splash Mountain was 30. BTMRR was 25. Animal Kingdom the biggest crowds we noticed were at Dinoland and Camp Mickey Minnie. Large lines for the Lights Motos Action show at Studios. Be sure to get there early. And for Fantasmic, we got there 90 minutes ahead of the 8:30 show, and the stadium was already 1/2 to 3/4 full.

At night, we only had to stand twice on the busses - once from Epcot and another after EMH at MK. Otherwise, we had the busses to ourselves quite a bit. The largest problem was trying to resort hop. Long waits for other busses especially since it seems like a lot of resorts are sharing now (eg. Boardwalk, Y&C, Swan&Dolphin all share one bus).

Keep in mind that Easter is much later next year than it was this year (next year it is April 12th), and that will have an impact on crowds in April. You'll likely be far enough away from that holiday that it will be OK though.

I just got back on Saturday too, and they were heavy IMO. Last year we were there 4/19-4/26 ish, and they were so light. This year we got slammed w/NY, CT, NJ spring break, and AL, GA spring breaks as well just from speaking to other guests we met. We used fastpass alot, and skipped alot of rides but the weather was also an issue it was cold from Sunday thru Weds--60's and windy so that didn't help the crowds much the waterparks were empty.
