I have been fortunate enough to have stayed there a couple years ago, and speaking from a golfer’s perspective I thought I had died and gone to heaven. I've played golf at many fine resorts and the courses here can hold their own with just about any you will ever find. Far superior (to my way of thinking) to any of the courses that Disney World has to offer. There are now three championship courses designed by Tom Watson, Arnold Palmer, and Jack Nicklaus. The Nicklaus course was still being built when I was there. Stayed in a beautiful three bedroom condo which had all the amenities that one would expect in an upscale golf resort.
Disney World is, and I'm doing my best to remember. Maybe a 10-15 minute drive, and Celebration about the same. The airport is probably around 45 minutes.
Cant help with your super market question but Kissimmee is just up the road where you can find everything, so there has to be a wide selection of choices there.
