DDP and changing resorts

So I'm thinking of staying at CSR for the portion of the trip that we will be spending at the parks and POP for the portion that we will be doing wedding stuff. That Thur and Sat I will have to attend different wedding events so I'll only be at the hotel to sleep - no Disney on those days.

If I do this can I get the DDP just for the nights at CSR or does it have to be for the entire vacation?

You're fine -- the split stay is going to require 2 reservations. So you can add the dining plan to only the CSR stay.
