? POR and ddp

My mom is planning a trip in Sept. (Trying to talk my dad into it right now) I understand that the free ddp is available to 6-22. I am worried that if they sit on the idea and do not make reservations, they will miss out. They want to stay at POR.
1. What are the chances of them getting the free ddp and when should they call? Can they reserve and cancel and get their deposit back.

2. What are the crowds like during middle of Sept compared to Easter week?

Crowds in Sept versus Easter week are like night and day. Very low crowds in Sept. Not as low as it used to be but still quite low in comparison.

Free Dining goes quickly. If you haven't made ressies yet, do it NOW! POR seems to be the first moderate to become unavailable. You can book it now with a $200 deposit and as long as you cancel by 46 days out, you get a full refund. Hope this helps!

i couldn't beleive how fast it sold out we were orginally staying in a value resort but had to upgrade to the por because the values were sold out.:mickey:
