3/21/08 A new banner on the construction wall outside the T-Rex construction site now lists “Fall 2008” as a completion date.

I read Fall 2008 too somewhere and I'm hoping that it'll be open when we are there in December!! DS will just be beside himself if the theming is like RFC only with dinos!!

This is suposed to be Fall '08 according to the construction signs. Of course with all of the animatronics that go into this there could be further delays in opening.
We live in Kansas City and have been multiple times to the original T Rex there (DS's favorite!) and I guarantee your kids and you will love the place. As far as being like Rainforest Cafe, imagine a 30' tall moving and roaring T Rex meating (misspelled on purpose) you at the door. There are meteor showers every 30 minutes or so when all of the dinosaurs start roaring, similar to the storms at RC. The dig area is fun for the kids while waiting on a table, it's a big sand pit with shovels and brushes to uncover a t rex fossil. OK, I had fun digging too...
I'm interested to see how similar this one is to the one in KC, I'm sure Disney will add some of their own magic to make it even better!:mickey:

This is the first time I have heard of the T-Rex cafe. Where is it going to be? Can you eat there for lunch as part of your CS points if you are on the dining plan or does it only count as a TS service?
