links?

I have seen in several posts where people have links to other threads but it says click hereand the here is the link. How do I do that with out having to copy and paste the full link in a posting? I hope you understand what I am asking. TIA

When typing your post you'll highlight the word you want the link attached to (left click and drag your cursor axcross the word until it is completely highlighted) then go to the little icons just above the box you're typing in and you'll see what looks like a tiny globe with a "link". Click on this and a box will open up where you can enter the URL address you want to direct folks to. Hit ok and that's it, you're done :)

Thank you so much , yes I know I was pmed once by a mod for posting a link that was not one of our sponsors and or not a previous thread so I know now what I am allowed to do as far as links.
