Can anyone tell me what the Chincoteague area would be like in November? Will the wild ponies still be active? Would there be much to do? Dh and I are now considering this area for our anniversary. Might include a day trip into Washington DC and one to Ocean City... any advice/information/etc would be appreciated.

I've never been there in November (and only once in late June), but I hear the ponies are quite active year round. I don't know how much there is to do in November. I suppose you could still do pretty much everything there is to do in summer except swim - it'll just be a lot colder for the outdoor activities. Temps average in the 50's and 60's for daytime. If you do a search for Chincoteague, you should find several great websites with lots of information on activities and such.
