T-Rex Info?

Does anyone have any idea as to when the T-Rex restaurant will open in DTD? I am helping DH's cousin plan her first trip to WDW with their twin boys (8 y.o.) and they LOVE dinosaurs.

I don't know when it's scheduled to open but I do know about the restaurant. We have one here in the Kansas City area and it is pretty cool. 8 year olds will love it, young kids can be frightened...it's not happy cartoony dinos, there are some carnivores! Hope the kids get to go!!

3/21/08 A new banner on the construction wall outside the T-Rex construction site now lists “Fall 2008” as a completion date.

11/15/07 Ground has recently been broken and site preparation work is underway for the forthcoming T-Rex restaurant.

The one in Kansas City is really cool. There is a dig area with sand. You can break open a geode and there is a build a dino. Maybe disney will get their first build a bear, well build a dino.
We think the gift shop is an attraction in itself. And the food is similar to Rainforest ( same people). It is sometimes loud and scared my then 1 year old DD.
I hope they get to go!!

This is all I know about it. In 2008 or 2009 the new theme eatery, "T-Rex: A Prehistoric Family Adventure," will open with a 25,000 sq. ft. 600 seat, two storied dining room. Should have no problem getting ressies for that one.:thumbsup:
