WL cabins or villas

How many people really fit in these?

Are they next to WL or down the street?

How far is it to the bus lines? or are these the cabins/villas everyone is talking about getting golfcarts for?

Do you have use of the WL pool?

The villas are part of the Vacation Club, and are located at the Wilderness Lodge. The cabins are at Fort Wilderness, which is a seperate resort about a mile away. Golf carts are available at FW only, and you can only use the pool at the resort you are staying. Not sure how many people can stay at the villas, but each cabin will hold six.

As mentioned, cabins sleep six and are at Fort Wilderness Resort, about a mile's walk away from WL. You do not get to utilize the WL pool if you stay at FtW - they have their own.

The villas at WL come in Studio, 1 and 2 bedroom villas and as mentioned are part of the DVC. They are next to WL and although they have their own quiet pool, you can still utilize the main WL pool. The bus stop is right outside the Villas building. :mickey:

VWL, come in various sizes from a studio to a 2 bedroom which sleeps up to 8. At the villas you can use both the main pool and the DVC pool.

Just to clarify a bit..

The Fort Wilderness campground has campsites and cabins. The cabins sleep six. If you stay at the campground, you can only use the pool there, not at other resorts. You can rent golf carts at FW, as there may be a bit of a drive to get to the common areas like the pool, gift shop, Trails End buffet, and the bus stop.

Down the road, about a mile away, is the Wilderness Lodge/Villas at Wilderness Lodge resort. Completely separate resort, with its own pools, restaurants, etc. Again, if you stay at WL, you can only use the pools at WL.

The Villas are part of the Disney Vacation Club, but you don't have to be a member to stay in a villa. They're located in a separate building right next to the WIlderness Lodge, connected by a short covered walkway. The walkway passes right by the bus stop, so the villas are close to transportation.

There are 3 sizes of villa at VWL. Studios sleep 4, and have a queen bed, a sofabed, and a kitchenette.

1-bedroom villas also sleep 4, and have a king bed in the master bedroom and a sofabed in the living room. There's a full kitchen, and a washer/dryer. Also a jacuzzi tub.

2-bedroom villas are essentially a 1-bedroom and a studio stuck together, and they sleep 8 people.
