Decided not to stay at Two Resorts on Trip

To stay at two resorts during our stay 2nights at AKL and 6 nights at WL would cost us $742.00 more than staying at WL for the entire trip.

Choice 1:Sep 13- 15, 2008 AKL Savanna View
3 day PH tickets and dining plan.
$1335.02, insurance 133.90 TL $ 1468.92

Choice 2: Sep 15- 21, 2008 WL Woods View
6 Day PH tickets, Dining Plan.
$2703.80, insurance $133.90, TL$ 2837.70

Choice 3: Sept 13-21 2007 WL Woods View
9 Day Ph Tickets, Dining Plan
$3431.06, insurance, 133.90 TL $ 2564.96 Hope this help someone out there considering staying at two resorts also, keep in mind this is Disney prices, could do better with AAA, AP, or Travel Agent, but I did'nt think that there would be that much of a huge diference.

If you book "Room Only" you are not eligible for 'Free Dining.' The 'Free Dining' promotion is tied to a package - room and at least a one day MYW park ticket.

Just got a quote back from Magic Journeys
price was $ 3431.06.

plus 133.90 insurance.

they are the exact price to the penny at the Disney web site price.

It really is a shame that Disney makes switching resorts cost prohibitive. I ran into the same problem last year and just decided to stay at the Boardwalk Villas for the entire trip. It was a great resort so it worked out well for us but it would have been nice to experience another resort, too.
