MGM to DHS

I have a Q? Why did they change MGM to DHS? I know this is a little late but i haven't been on for a while. thanks for anyone that tells me why

There has been a lot of speculation about contracts expiring, and that could well be true, but I think another reason also makes sense. When Disney-MGM Studios opened, Disney Studios wasn't really all that strong, while MGM was a thriving brand. Now, Disney is a thriving brand and MGM is all but gone. Why share the billing?

Well from what I heard was that at the opening of the park disney still had a contract and worked with MGM but that ended a few years ago and they decided to change it. There was a lot of speculation that it would be called disney's pixar studios but thank god its not that
