I'm going on my first cruise (Disney or otherwise) in December, doing a 4 night, then spening a few days after in WDW (going to MVMCP the night I return).

I've read that while they will add on extra days for you, they do not add on park days to your ticket, so you need to do that when you check into your resort. Also, I've heard this invalidates any dining plan setups you may have.

I've done mine all separately, sometimes that can save you money, or, as in my case, do the land portion after the cruise.

We're debating on booking it separately, as the prices for resorts for 2009 probably won't come out until late summer, and if they raise them, it could negate any savings. But, there's also the chance there will be a good special that comes out for the land-only portion of the cruise, too, if we do it separately, so I'm just not sure.

My husband and I are going on the Western Carribbean cruise November 29-December 6. I am really excited. We went on the Eastern Carribbean cruise 2 years ago. On that cruise at one port we didn't even get off the ship and that is when we had the most fun. We virtually had the whole ship to ourselves. Well, my time here in California at Guide Dogs for the Blind has been going great!!! My new “paw”tner is Jolene a sweet little yellow lab…Maybe sometime I can figure out how to put a picture up.  We’ll be going home to New York next Sunday, October 5th and we leave for Disney World in just 46 days!!!!! I am so excited!

We are going Feb 20, 2010 for 7 night western carribean cruise for our 25th wedding anniverssary. My two sisters and DH plus 5 of my cousins are going. We found a place in port canaveral that will pick us up at the airport when we fly in the day before stay at there place for the night and take us to the port on the 20th then when we get off the ship will take us back to airport. All of this for 94.00 per person. We were going to pay 69.00 per person for Disney transportaion. We all figured this was a better way to go.

We'll be sailing away on the Disney Dream on the 27 th of March! A 5 Night Bahamian Cruise and I'll celebrate my 40 th birthday (hopefully on Palo if we can just get ressies :mickey: )!

It's our first cruise and we are so excited!

well me and dw had such a blast on our 1st ever cruise in oct 11 aboard the Disney Magic on a Western Caribean Cruise, that 1 week after we returned home, we booked our 2nd cruise for Sept, 2012, aboard the Disney Fantasy this time the Eastern Caribean Cruise. We didn't know what to expect on the cruise, but we had such a fantastic time and were really impressed with the whole aspect of cruising, the meals the shows and the on shore excurisons the people that we met while dining , just everything. We are already in countdown mode:mickey::captain::magic:

Our first cruise was Feb. 3 on the Magic. We'll be back on the Magic on June 1, 2013 on a European cruise. Absolutely can't wait for that one. We're going to Disneyworld in August and that's hardly even on my mind with the cruise lurking in the future. Never thought I'd say that.

We went march 2012 on the Disney dream and had the best time!!! Everything was top notch!!!

well me and dw just got back from our eastern 7 day cruise aboard the Disney Fantasy it was fantastic as always, next up a small 3 day Bahama Cruise on the Disney Dream in Mar 2013, then another 7 day cruise will be planned for Sept or Oct 2013

another 3 day cruise in sept i never thought that me and dw would love cruising so much, plus it being a Disney cruise puts cruising on the top of our vaca list everytime we plan a wdw vaca. it's a special trip when you can pack in a small wdw visit as well, this upcoming trip we'll be at OKW Resort for 3 days then it's off to the cruise.

Doing the Fantasy for its Dec. 20th, 2014 Christmas cruise!!

First time cruising but since I have Christmas off, FINALLY, we decided on doing something special. So we start off at OKW for three nights then off to the cruise on the Saturday.
