State Pins

Ok, I have a remedial pin trading question here. I pretty much know nothing about pin trading.

Recently, my wife and daughter have been getting the "bug".

My wife has become interested in the state pins, the ones with one of the 50 states and a Disney Character.

So she asked me if I could find out when they made these pins. So I've turned to the experts. Can anyone here offer the answer to this question?

At pinpics.com search for State Character Pins and you should find the pins I think your wife is asking about. It looks like these pins were released in August 2002.
