Disney cels being returned

In an article on the NY Times online this morning, it is reported that animation cels from "Sleeping Beauty" are being returned after having been "lost" for over 45 years.

Good news!

1) I have five original Disney cells
. . . three from Snow White
. . . one from Sleeping Beauty
. . . one from Bambi
2) I bought them in 1984 for $15 each.
. . . the cell came matted, but not framed
. . . each has a certificate of authenticity
3) Disney was selling them over the TV to get cash.
4) They aren't getting these back!
5) They hang proudly in my home, behind UV glass.

NOTE: Disney made commercials hawking original cells from their movies. You did not have a choice which movies or scenes you received. They were $15 each, and some small amount for S&H.

I have one original and it's from the Pooh and Friends TV series - I bought it in 2001 at the Disney Art store that used to be at Epcot It's of Piglet wearing an around-the-waist pool float, like a small child wears.
I had to have it!:thumbsup: It was already framed and the certificate of authencity states which show it was in and which frame it was in that show. It cost $100. :spend: No regrets.
