only have one day for waterpark..which one?

ji will be heading down to wdw on june 6th to the 15th. i have been to wdw about 12 times and i have also been to both blizzard beach and tyhphoon lagoon. my question is that i am taking a friend with me that has not been to wdw before therefore she has not been to neither waterpark and i am afraid that we will only be able to do one waterpark andy advice which one we should do... i like them both. so i can not deciede. thanks

I would choose typhoon lagoon. You can do the shark reef and the wave pool is obviousley a lot better then blizard beach! Also TL has the water coaster (I forgot what it is called). Hope you have a great time in Disney!:mickey:

Blizzard just has more......and better slides

typhoon has some nice niche stuff....the wave pool....the shark reef....slush and gusher (which are nice....but short)
the body slides are nice....but the raft/family rides absolutely stink

i would go with blizzard and alot of sunsreen....those fiberglass "snow mounds" reflect all that heat and UVs back up at you and you get the microwave effect

All I like about typhoon lagoon is there wave pool. I almost drown in it one year but it was still fun. :number1:

I say Blizzard Beach. Great water slides. Even my DH who hates waterparks (yes, I made him to both of them on our honeymoon because I love waterparks) enjoyed this park. I also really like the theme - very cute.

When going with a friend or two, I always found BB to be more enjoyable. They have several attractions where you can go together, or at least at the same time. We have a blast with the 'racing' tubes and slides. Have a great time whichever you choose.

BB does have better slides but we prefer TL. The wave pool, lazy river and shark reef are just a cut what's available at BB.

What does your friend like? Typhoon Lagoon is so beautiful, laid back and relaxing. I've never been to BB but it sounds a bit more intense. It might depend on your friends personality.

BB has more and better slides, especially the ones you can do together. And a superb theming. We spent a whole day there and didn't want to leave. :cloud9:

it fills up first and that is the proof.
my DS likes TL better, he is addicted to the wave pool.
i like the chair lift at BB.

If you can, take use of the morning EMH at BB if they have it scheduled during your visit. :mickey:

I vote for Typhoon Lagoon. The wave pool and the snorkeling are cool things there you won't find at Blizzard Beach. I like the kids area at Blizzard Beach better, but the waves and swimming with sharks pull TL ahead.
