Thinking about 2009. How far is Jacksonville?

My Alma mater (Old Dominion University) is starting up football in 2009. Our last game of the season that year will be against Jacksonville University on November 20th. When the word came that ODU would be playing at Jacksonville I thought it would be a great idea to combine my two favorite things (ODU athletics and Disney World) into one trip. My question is how far is Jacksonville from Disney World? I was thinking a bit over two hours. Mapquest agrees with me. My friend, a former Florida resident, insists it is more like six hours. Also does anyone have any experience with Jacksonville University football?

6 hours?!?! No way. It can take anywhere from 2- 2.5 hours from Jacksonville to the Gate Entrance of WDW if there are no traffic problems. I say go for it - it's a real simple drive!!!!!!!!!! :mickey:

Thanks Emily. I remember when I drove from Norfolk to Orlando in 2001 it was not all that far from Jacksonville to Orlando.
