I am trying to work on our budget for our upcoming trip in September. How much tax is charged on food? I know the tax on the hotels varies with the location. Does the location also have a factor in the amount of tax charged on food? Thanks!!

If you are staying in WDW the tax for food is 6.5%. If you are traveling to different areas in Orlando I don't know.

Thanks for your response. We are staying on WDW property and only eating at Disney places. I could not remember what we had been charged in the past and I couldn't find any old receipts.
