apple slices

can anyone tell me what kind of apple slices they are substituting for fries?

Hmmm... if you're asking what variety of apples, can't help you there. But we've had them a couple of times at Cosmic Ray's, and they're tasty, sweet not tart (not Granny Smith). Very similar to McDonald's apple dippers (no sauce though), and to apple slices we buy often at Publix. I think they were peeled like McD (store varieties have skin). :tasty:
