All Star Resorts or Animal Kingdom with a 3 Year Old?

Is it worth the extra money to stay at the Animal Kingdom Resort, or should we stay at the All Stars with a 3 year old. If All Star Resorts, which one?

If money is not a problem then AKL! Your 3 year old will not care as long as she has a wading pool. We always include a stay at AS with out DVC stay. For the money AS are all good and comfortable, your daughter would be able to relate better with Movies and is the newer one. AKL is very nice and always go visiting there, however it is pricey.

we stayed at ASMovies for the first time for my daughter's 3rd birthday celebration and she loooved it. The huge icons are so mesmerizing to the little ones and the Fantasia pool has Mickey spraying water. We stayed in Dalmations and she just couldn't get over the huge Pongo and Perdy statues. It is very bright and colorful and there are different things in the walkways that coordinate with the theme of the buildings. My Emmy had such a great time just being at the hotel. We have stayed at Wilderness Lodge and very briefly with friends at POFQ and this was her favorite. She still talks about "All-Star Movies" and the dogs... THe little ones are less into the whole "deluxe resort" idea and more into fun, colors, and characters they recognize!
