disney dollars in DTD stores

may be a silly question, but this is our first time with disney dollars...

can we use them at the non-disney DTD stores, like the lego store?

NO just Disney stores,restaurants etc..I tried to use my Disney store credit card one time at the Planet hollywood store in MGM once and they said nope not part of Disney..

I have been giving my ds and dd Disney dollards for their allowance for this up coming trip. My ds is a huge Lego fan, so when I read this thread I immediately called.

The Lego Store in DTD said they do accept disney dollars.

I hope they also take the Gift Cards that you can use in the parks because they have these also. I would assume they would as these are the same as Disney dollars.

It may be that the previous poster tried using the Disney Store Card, which I have been told is not the same, and can only be used in Disney Stores.

thanks for calling! we're in the same boat- 2 boys with serious lego addictions, and a pile of disney dollars just waiting to be spent at the lego store in DTD.

We were able to use the Disney Dollars in the lego store in December.
