Contemporary Concourse Steakhouse

I see that the Concourse Steakhouse is closing down in "Spring 2008". I had made priority seating for May 6th....will it still be open then or should I make a PS somewhere else for that day?? :confused:

When I called to make my ADR's for June, I was told that the Concourse will be closing toward the end of May.:sad: I'm very sad that we will be missing the closing by that short of a time period. The Concourse has become one of our favorite places to eat. It will be missed by us:pout:
However, you should be able to enjoy your meal when you are there because it will definitely still be open. Hope that helps.

We went on the DDP in December and it was great.:thumbsup: If you're there before it closes,ask for Claudia.We've been to DW for 12 years and have eaten at many resturants there and she is the best server we've ever had.I sent DW an e-mail a week ago praising Claudia.She goes above and beyond what other servers do.I asked DW to let us know where she will be transfering to so we know where to eat the next trip.We suggested her being the Head Server trainng all others to be in her mold.She was great.:D

Resort Cast are reporting that the Concourse Steakhouse is scheduled for its last day of operation on May 10th, 2008. Accordingly, it has been further reported that the location is scheduled to be closed for renovations May 11 - August 14, 2008.

There are also rumours that it will be relocated to another area of the resort so we can still hope for that to happen :thumbsup:

No its not coming back. It will be called the "Wave" and will be located where the old Fun Center was. Contemporary menu.... what else?

I was thinking it will be relocated to the new Tiower they are buidlign since they will need a restaurant or 2 over there :thumbsup:

I'm still so sad to see this restaurant go!

When my boyfriend and I went to WDW last summer, it was one of our favorite restaurants during our whole trip! It's sad to know that our first time was also our last!

Hopefully they'll be replacing it with something just as good!

We are really going to miss the place as well. We eat there on almost every trip, they have great steak and lobster bisque.

My family had a great meal there last May. Our server, Lori, was the best. Gonna miss this one.

You're probably right, but I have heard similar rumors. There will almost definitely be a restaurant or two in the new section of the resort, and the Concourse Steakhouse is popular. Perhaps Disney will decide to just reopen it in a new location.

We ate at the Concourse Steakhouse earlier this week and spoke with our server about its closing. He verified that 5/31 will be the closing date. He said - although I find it hard to beleive - the new restaurant will open only a couple weeks after that, so sometime in mid-June. He also indicated - and I asked him directly - that there are NO PLANS to relocate CS to another location in the resort.

Of course, all of that can (and probably will) change....
