Question about 2004?

Okay here is my question. Our first trip to Disney was in 2004 for our honeymoon. This years Motto is Year of a Million Dreams. Can someone tell me what it was in 2004? For the life of me I can't remember and neither can DH. Too many naps since then. My kids asked me and I just can't recall.:help:

This is the problem with too many "celebrations". They are easily forgotten. I don't remember either.

"The Happiest Celebration On Earth" ran from May 5, 2005 to November 2006. I can't for the life of me remember what was happening in 2004. I was there... oh wait... no I wasn't. My first daughter was born New Years Day that year, so we didn't go in 2004. We were back in 2005. I'll see if I can find anything else on the web.

hahahahaha... she's right then... from what I found on some of my searches, Disney introduced the Magical Gatherings program in 2004. I bet that is what it was called. We were absent from WDW from 2001-2005. Getting settled in a new house and having kids to take to WDW.

I can't believe there is not a site out there with a history of Disney slogans. Maybe there is and it is not registered with the search engines?

I know that's when they started offering the Magical Gatherings (and Grand Gatherings for 8 or more) but thought it was Share the Dream theme.
Anybody else remember anything else?

There is - it's called INTERCOT. ;) There was no "slogan' in 2004.

The Magical Gathering program was launched in 2003. You can read past history dates here (http://www.intercot.com/themeparks/wdwhistory/default.asp). The information comes direct from Disney.

On my room key is tinkerbell and it says "Where Magic Lives". It also says that on my shirt from that year, so could that be it?:mickey:

I was there in 2003 and they had "Where Magic Lives" stuff then too, so I don't think that was the theme from 2004. Too many celebrations, too little time to devote to memorizing them.... :mickey:

I think the problem is that people confuse slogan with promotion.

The WDW resort's slogan, as it was officially changed, "Where Dreams Come True."

The promotion reflecting this is the Year of a Million Dreams.

In 2004, I'm pretty sure we were still using "Where Magic Lives."

DL's slogan is "The Happiest Place on Earth" and they had a promotion celebrating their 50th anniversary, The Happiest Celebration/Homecoming on Earth.

Or so, I am pretty sure I am right. Someone correct me if I am wrong?

I was there in Feb 2004, and there was nothing going on that was considered special. It was basic, and by far the best time I ever spent at WDW.
