Has anyone done the parasailing outside of MK? Is it worth doing. I have been at the beach but no too sure if it would be worth taking time out from arks to do it at WDW!

I think you can only parasail on bay lake now.....

I might be wrong but I think they only do it between the Contemporary and Fort Wilderness.

A family friend of ours did this (and yes it is on Bay Lake, which is very close to MK between the Contemporary, Fort Wilderness, and WL) and she LOVED it. This is despite the fact that she's afraid of heights, too! They let you up very easily and you can see amazing views of MK, apparently. I'm planning on asking for the experience as a birthday gift when I turn 21 next year. :mickey:

I did that on my 30th birthday and it was awesome. :number1:

We took off from CR's marina and headed out on Bay Lake, the view of MK is amazing. :cloud9:

On a clear day you can even see all the way to Epcot and DHS! :mickey:

And Yes it's very much worth to take the time out of the parks to do. :D

I did it with my son approximately 10 years ago. Awesome experience. :joy: Well worth the money, even back then!

My wife keeps threatening to sign me up for this. I would love to do it, just concerned over the cost.

I just booked us to do it in April. We combined the parasailing with the water sports, waterskiing, tubing and we got a 10% discount. I found the discount when I clicked the Sammy Duvall link on the Disney pages. The discount shows up on Sammy Duvall home page.
