Belle's blue dress

Has anyone ever seen Belle's blue dress as a costume? DD woud love to have one, but I have had no luck at all in my searching.

OK - so I'm answering my own thread (and admittedly - tooting my own horn). I gave up on finding the dress and decided to make it myself. I finished it tonight (mostly - I still need to add closures on the back, trim up some threads, etc, but it's basically done). We wen with a short sleeve blouse, though, because it's too hot for the 3/4 sleeves.

Thanks - I think she's pretty cute, too, but of course I'm biased.

As for my sewing, if you looked closely, you'd see lots of mistakes. But for costumes, it's passable.

You know - every time I finish a costume, I think about it, but when I start the next one and all the frustration and mistakes and re-threading and dull scissors trips to the fabric store and swearing tell me otherwise.

You did a great job!!! I couldn't figure out what you were talking about when you said Belle's blue dress, then I clicked your link and was like DUH! It looks great!

And I completely understand you on the craft projects thing. I make a few things that I could probably sell, but the aggravation I go through every time I start a project reminds me it probably wouldn't be worth it! :)
