Feb. 21, 1904 – Hazel Gilman, the Disney Studio nurse was born in Bisbee, Cochise County, Arizona. (She was hired by Walt during the infamous studio strike of 1941.) Under the pseudonym “Gil George,” she would co-write over 90 songs for Disney! Her work would include songs for films like “The Light in the Forest,” “Perry,” “Tonka,” “Westward Ho the Wagons,” and “Old Yeller.” She would also contribute to TV shows including the original “Disneyland Show,” “Zorro,” and the original “Mickey Mouse Club.” Hazel’s songwriting career would end when studio composer/partner Paul Smith retired in 1962 although as a nurse, she will continue treating Walt right up until he entered St. Joseph’s Hospital.
Feb. 21, 1927 – Disney’s Alice Comedy “Alice’s Rodeo” was released.
Feb. 21, 1947 – Disney’s Pluto cartoon “Pluto’s Housewarming” was released.
Feb. 21, 1955 - Actor Kelsey Grammer, the voice of Stinky Pete and the Prospector in Disney’s 1999 “Toy Story 2” and the narrator of “Hand Behind the Mouse: The Ub Iwerks Story” was born in St. Thomas, Virgin Islands.
Feb. 21, 1965 – The Disney TV show aired “An Otter in the Family.”
Feb. 21, 1989 – Actor and dancer Corbin Bleu was born in Brooklyn, N.Y. Best Known for his role of Chad Danforth of Disney Channel’s hit “High School Musical,” his Disney credits also include the 2007 “Jump In!”
Feb. 21, 1997 - Club Disney a children’s developmental play center, and Disney’s 1st, opened in Thousand Oaks, Ca.
Feb. 21, 2001 - Disney won Grammy Awards for Elton John and Tim Rice’s “Aida” and “When She Loved Me” from “Toy Story 2”.
Feb. 21, 2002 – A sneak preview was held at the Disney Gallery (located in Disneyland) for an exhibit featuring 100 images of Mickey Mouse by artist and former Disney Imagineer Eric Robison. The special evening was hosted by Mouseketeers Sherry Alberoni and Bobby Burgess. (The exhibit would officially open to the public 2 days later.)
Feb. 21, 2003 – The Lizzie McGuire episode “Bunkies” debuted on the Disney Channel.

I didn't know Kelsey Grammer was born in St Thomas, he sounded as if he was actually from Boston.
