Downtown Disney Hotels

My friend hasnt booked his hotel at Pop Century or anywhere yet. Is he too late? Can he keep calling the hotel he wants to stay in just in case someone drops out? He wants to stay in the same hotel as us.

The reason why Im asking is because where can he go if the hotels are booked? Can he stay at the Downtown Disney ones or do they book up fast too? Does the Downtown Disney hotel accept Annual Passes? What hotels are in Downtown Disney?

Have him contact Magical Journeys. They can keep checking on getting a room at the POPS or one of the other value resorts. If he stays at the DTD Motels, I do not think he wil be eligible for any of the EMH's and they usually do not get a discount for having an AP. I have stayed at the Sheraton Safari Suites which is just outside of DTD and while the motel is not bad, the transportation to and from the parks is not the best. We usually use our own car.
