Disney Magical Trip-Travel Day 13th

Disney vacationers were Me, my DH, DD 8 and DS 11, my parents. We were flying NW free with Points! That was all great until 5:30am when my DH got a email via blackberry that flight was cancelled and not rescheduled until 2-15:(. That was really not an option! My DD 8th birthday was 14th. So we found a 12:25 flight into Tampa and rented a car to Disney. Only a 90 minute drive not bad and one way was $200 pp. Yikes, but not much choice.We arrived at ASM and all went well. Took the bus to MK and boat to Fort Wilderness for the Hoop De Doo Revue. Our first time there. The kids really liked it, Food was great and the entertainment was OK. Glad we did it once. Weather was a little chilly that night. But it was better than 0 here in OH!

I can imagine the panic that must have set in when your flight was canceled, but I am so glad you could find a new flight and get down there for your daughter's birthday. Thanks for reporting. :mickey:
