characters at america in epcot?

i've read several times about character appearing outside of america at epcot, but i've never seen a character there. are they inside, or right out front somewhere? thanks!

I think i've seen them outside, near the store area.

If/when there are characters out in AA, they would be in the pathway in between the Liberty Inn and Italy (and also along the railing by the lagoon).

I have seen characters here before, they were along the path that joanna described. There was Baloo, Pluto, and one other that I can't think of right now. This was back in the beginning of Dec 07.
