The WDW Monorail System is the most heavily traveled passenger monorail system in the world. It carries an average of 150,000 passengers every day, with a maximum capacity of 200,000 passengers daily. Each year, the monorails transport more than 50 million people. Since WDW opened in 1971, they have carried over 1 billion passengers.
