DTD during the day

Hello! I was just wondering if anyone had any suggestions for fun things to do at DTD during the day -- aside from shopping and eating of course!

There are boat rentals. There is also a small carousel for the kids. All of these cost money though. The boat rentals can be a little pricey. Other than that, there is not much else to do other than shop and eat.

The Lego area is pretty cool to check out. DTD is nice during the day, alot crazier at night when the Parks close.

This cost also but there is disney quest we never seem to go during the day it always ends up a night time thing for us but have to amagine whats there is the same day or night

This falls into shopping and eating but, at Goofy's candy shop, it's fun to do the made to order candy treats (pretzel rods, marshmellows on a stick, rice crispy treats etc). You select how you want your treats dipped, and what you want them rolled in. Example-pretzels dipped in white chocolate, rolled in pecans, drizzles with carmel. Yum, my mouth is watering just thinking about them. There is a distorted mirror in the candy store and it always cracks us up.

Are you taking kids? If so they have:

-carousel ($2 + a free adult for really little kids)
-train ride ($2 + same as above)
-small playground by Lego store
-Lego play area
-water play area (little fountains shoot up from the floor)
-sometimes live birds and handler outside

Otherwise, they also have a movie theater, DisneyQuest, boat rentals, and Cirque due Solei (sp?).

Our DS 6 loved the fountains. He got soaking wet! As far as eating, we love The Earl of Sandwich. We can't wait to go back!
