How's the last week of April?

I'm just back from our recent trip and trying to figure out when to go again. I'm thinking of April '09. Easter is the 12th that year and I'm thinking of arriving the 25th or 26th. How's the weather and crowds normally?

Massachusetts has vacation from the 18th to the 26th and I think it's the last spring break. So, crowds should be lower and the weather is beautiful:thumbsup:

I have been to WDW on 3 different occasions during the last week of April / first week of May and it has been one of the best times in my opinion. The weather is not too hot yet and the crowds are still at a minimum. The 2008 Grad Nites (special park hours at the Magic Kingdom for High School Seniors) are the weekends of April 18-19 and 25-26 but they never affected the crowds too badly for us. You might see a ton of teenagers in some of the parks on those weekends but it never bothered us. I think you will find this is a great time of year to go!

it is fabulous! you'll love it - the weather is perfect and the crowds are at a dull roar - we fell in love with that week and are going that week again this year! but it will be short lived my dd7 made a gymnastics team and the meet season runs throught may 17th - we'll be going the last week in may starting in 09 and then for the rest of her gymnastics career :) !

We've been a couple of years the last week of April and are going back this year the 27th-30th.

Crowds are very manageable and weather great. A great time to go!

:mickey::mickey:NH school vacation week always follows MA school vacation week. We go the last week of April/beginning of May & find the crowds managable especially the 1st week of May. The weather is perfect, warm days usually sunny with balmy warm nights. It's our favorite time of year to go. Hours are generally extended that week as well.

Just to beat the horse a little more....we love that week too. We'll be there from the 23rd thru May 2nd. It's ideal in my opinion.
