Does anyone know if credit cards are processed when we make a purchase or do they wait until the end of the cruise.

Just like at WDW, the charge comes through on your credit card (the one you give them for your expenses) in one lump sum, which makes me believe that they process it at the end of your cruise.

I have to correct the previous post. The cruise line charges your credit card at intervals throughout your cruise, not at one lump sum at the end.

If you take care of your on board balance daily or every few days, I do believe your card is charged at that time. I know that you don't have to use CC for all your purchase. I have used Traveler's Checks to clear my balance before.

You have to take care of your on board balance by the end of the cruise, so I can't see how they can charge your CC.

Maybe I'm just confused!

They kept a tally, but no charges were processed until we checked out, the night before we left.
