Feb. cheerleaders

I saw a post about cheerleaders at MGM during my stay in Feb. (8-15). Does anyone know the actual dates of the competition? Will it just be a weekend event? I heard from other posts that most people weren't bothered by them since it's not Pop Warner. Any info?

I might be missing something but I can't find any specific competitions that are happening in February. In any case, I've never found these types of events to have any impact on the parks.

I did a search of February crowds I might have been looking at a post from last year. Silly :blush:

The cheerleaders will be there that week-end. They are competing the whole week-end.
It is also mardi gras week for many people.

We're there the exact same dates, and I was just reading the posts about them too. My game plan is just to organize our visits around them as much as possible and then make the most out of the next week ;) Either way, I plan on having a blast, wall to wall cheerleaders or not. :thumbsup:

I did a google search for the High School
Cheer Leader Competition at DW and found that the last day was Feb 10.

I hope this is the case as I am checking in on the 10th:cloud9::mickey:

We were at All Star Sports last May while the Little league and Soccer competition was going on. The food court was crowded but the parks did not get to bad until toward the end of the week ( Sunday to Friday )

Mardi Gras week ends the 9th right I mean Mardi Gras is the 5th isn't it. So the week 10-15 should be fairly quiet. So where are you guys staying? I am so excited!! 13 more days Hooray!!

Did anyone find a beginning date for the competition? I thought it started earlier, closer to Feb. 2, but not sure where I read that.

I think that the competition starts on Feb 8th and ends on the 10th.
