Thanks everyone!

This year, I spent my birthday in Walt Disney World. A couple of hours were at Hollywood Studios (aka MGM), and then I headed over to Magic Kingdom - in time for the Dreams Come True parade.

The weather was not 'ideal,' but I wasn't complaining - it was raining on and off all day / evening, but being in WDW took my mind off that. Besides - it's water!

Guess what! I finally got to meet JPL! I know y'all are so jealous... We hung out for a while during the Pirate and Princess Party.

We rode Haunted Mansion, Pirates of the Caribbean, watched Aladdin's Royal Pirate Recruitment show, and also the Enchanted Parade. I didn't dare ask if he wanted to experience Small World... :thedolls:

Don't worry - I remembered that JPL likes gummies, so I got him a bag full of Gummi Mickeys, as well as life saver gummies too. He should be a happy camper....

So, in conclusion, even though the Pirate and Princess Party was a little 'underwhelming' (I won't go into details), I had a nice time while I was in WDW.

Thanks again for the birthday wishes - what a lovely treat to come home to!
