Can someone give me the scoop on what happened to this ride? I was in WDW last Feb for the 1st time since I was a child (now 33), and NO 10,000 Leagues! Also Mr. Toads Wild Ride!
I loved those rides, where did they go??
Many thanks!

LOL...things have changed. Those were two of my favorite rides growing up. Disney decided that other attractions and areas were needed.

Mr. Toad hasn't been there in years and I believe 10,000 was filled in and is now a playground with a Pooh theme.

I wonder what happened to the other 10,000 Leagues.

20,000 Leagues was a slow loading, pretty uneventful ride by today's standards. Fantasyland is crowded enough as it is; I can't imagine 20,000 Leagues lines adding to it. There is a Pooh playground there now; I'm not sure how permanent that is intended to be.

Mr. Toad was a good ride and is one people definitely miss. I think you can still catch it in Disneyland Anaheim though.

I remember 20g leagues, but I do not remember Mr. Toad.....I've heard about it here on various posts, I just can't remember the ride. Was it there at the begining??

They have both been gone for years. Mr. Toad I believe close in '98? It made way for the Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh. 20,000 Leagues closed ages ago and the lagoon sat there dormant for many, many, many years until they just filled it in and put a playround in a year or 2 ago. It has been widely rumored that this is just temporary until Disney puts it's next e-ticket attraction in this location.

Did you realize that River Country had also been closed since your last visit as well???

Technically the subs of 20k leagues are sitting outside rusting behind Small World backstage

I can confirm that Mr. Toad is still driving his wild ride at Disneyland! The one in Disneyworld was still there back in 1986.. that's when I went and remember riding it.

Check out http://waltdatedworld.bravepages.com/

It is a great site to check out the history of those rides you miss and when they went bye-bye.

20K's last voyage was in 1994. The lagoon sat empty for over ten years before the 100 Acre Wood playground thing took over. There's a nice little tribute to 20K inside Pooh's Hunny tree, though ;)

Mr. Toad's last Wild Ride was in 1998, when the attraction closed to make way for Pooh. There was a Web site - and many fans - dedicated to trying to save the attraction, but it didn't happen. Pooh was the first FastPass attraction in the Magic Kingdom. There's also a tribute to Toad inside ;)
