We are thinking of going this Christmas. It would be the week between Christmas and New Year's. Is this just rediculously busy? Would you not suggest this? Thanks for the info! :mickey:

It is busy beyond belief. That being said, my family loves WDW during this week and we have been the last 5 years running. The keys to having a good time over Christmas week are:
1. Get to the parks as they open. With a plan, in the first 2 hours of opening, you can do many rides.
2. Use fast pass wisely and be prepared to walk a lot as you will criss cross the parks.
3. Take a mid day break then come back for late night shows, parades, fireworks.
4. Make 1 ADR per day to be able to sit and escape the crowds.

Expect huge crowds and plan your day to not be in sync with the crowds. For example, in Epcot -enter the World Showcase as it opens, tour the World and have lunch early. Then head back to Future World late as much of the crowd will then be in the WS.

It is a great time to be at WDW.

Ridiculously busy is an understatement...

Arguably the best time to go however!

We went the week before Christmas this past year, and the crowds were light when we first arrived. By the weekend before Christmas the crowds had gotten HUGH. We left the 23rd, and more and more people were coming in. I can only imagine what the crowds were like.:crowd:
