Yes, I know it is wrong, but I watched the first one, and loved it...in all of it's political INcorrectness! So I am sure I will watch #2.

Oh baby, I am all over that one! :D :joy: I am not even going to be ashamed about it, I loved the first one! I watched some of those episodes probably 4 or 5 times out of boredom, but they were hysterical! That show was the ultimate train wreck.

I can't wait 'til Sunday!!! :clappy:

I got into the first one entirely by accident, but it was good cheesy fun. Now that I understand the set up and staging, it's not as much fun but I'll probably still tune in.

That Lacey gal is one fry short of a happy meal if you catch my drift! Ugh, she drove me completely crazy and I just wanted her off the show so badly. I think Brett is an arrogant guy too but hey, I'll still watch:secret:. It's my dirty lil' secret!

I really liked Jess from Season 1 and I hate that it was all a setup. I can't get that into something again that I'll be disappointed in the end again.

But I still love Bret ! :cloud9:

I am the first one to admit that I do enjoy a "good" trashy reality show, and I did laugh a lot during the first season. But I think this one crossed my line in the sand. These girls were so gross. They all look like adult film stars with all plastic parts. I have never seen so many empty eyes all in one place. And I think Bret is nasty. I don't blame that one girl for not wanting to kiss him after the other girls. Not enough Listerine in the world for some of those girls. Yuck!!

This show is very adult oriented, and we need to be careful when discussing here that we don't cross the family-friendly line. Thanks everyone!

Zo deed you zee the poor Franch gil huv to leeve zee houze?? LOL, she was funny on the show and probably the trashiest one.

That French girl was scary, she even scared Bret. If have to say as much as there is piggish about Bret, I do like the guy, he is just so tell it like it is. I missed the whole roller skating thing.

He is going to be at Universal in Orlando on Feb 2.

Is anybody still watching? I didn't want to get into it, but blast it I am hooked again. Last week was a hoot with the one (Audrey?) volunteering to leave instead of Kristy Joe, and then he was keeping Kristy Joe anyway. But this week, oh! I missed the first showing, so I stayed up late to see the second, only to have no one get sent home. After all that with Daisy? He should probably boot Kristy Joe, but I don't know. I kind of like her. And Ambre.

I was the opposite- I didn't care for the first season and now I love the second season. Last nights episode was interesting.

SPOILER:
He didn't eliminate anyone!

I like Kristi Jo but she is kind of a drama queen and its kind of obvious that Bret finds that annoying. I also really like Daisy for some reason and I think Megan is beautiful. To answer someone elses question- yes, she was on Beauty and the Geek. I'm also glad that Frenchie was eliminate she was funny but gross. :mickey:

We saw bits of it, we were watching this and Flav, it's just scary!! Who is the normal seeming girl with blond hair/brown streaks? She just seems too normal to me to be on this show. And there's another one who is more like a guy than a woman. Most of these people want to be on TV or actors, so I guess that's it. Daisy is the only one beside Kristy Jo that I know the name of and I think they will end up together (until ROL 3) I am soooo sad Project Runway is almost over!

Yeah she's just into being on TV. You can tell most of the girls are just there to promote there own careers but with her its blatantly obvious. I can't believe none of the other girls ratted her out yet.:mickey:

That's Jessica, and she hasn't won a date yet but she seems very soft-spoken and sweet, which means she will probably go home soon. He really seems to go for the aggressive, over-the-top, and underhanded girls. Jes, the nice girl, won last time, but that seemed to be the producer's choice for the sake of storyline.

Anyone else tired of hearing Megan talk about how old Catherine is? I hope she shrivels up like a prune when she gets older!

Anyway, time to say goodbye to Catherine and Peyton. They were weren't too exciting to watch, which is obviously why they're gone now.

I have to say, I'm really leaning towards Daisy "winning" Brett. She's so cute to watch!

I totally agree. I also think that it was time for Catherine to go, I think that she really wasn't meant for Brett, just in a different league. Not a bad league or anything, just doesn't seem agressive/wild enough for him if you know what I need. :mickey: I really like Ambre, I think that she has a good chance, she seems like the kind that Brett would go for.

I totally agree with you, Sherri. Daisy is probably my least favorite in the house right now. She is annoying as all get out.

I also agree with you about Megan. I know part of it's probably an act, but she seems like such a ditz, and I hate that "I'm hot so I don't have to be smart" act. :ack:

I am rooting for Ambre or Jessica. But then in a way I think ending up with Bret Michaels isn't exactly a good thing, so I'm not sure I'd wish that on them! ;) I like him, don't get me wrong, he makes me laugh... I'm just not necessarily buying that he really wants to settle down. I feel sorry for anyone he dates (especially if they believe he's going to be faithful). Call me a cynic, but I don't think that's happenin'!

Yes, I agree with you on this, too. I felt that way in Rock of Love 1, also, and the one I liked won, but it didn't last and I felt relieved for her. I like the nice girls (Ambre and Jessica) best, but I want them to escape the house.

If he really wants someone to be with, I think Kristy Joe fits with him, baggage and all. But I think she'll go soon. That whole thing with her still being married is too much. She's pretty self-centered on the show, also. He really seems to want someone who will be all about him but ready to let him go do his own thing when he feels like it. That's a tough combination to find. No wonder he needs a reality show to find a partner. :D

I used to tolerate Kristi Jo but since the last episode she is just getting annoying but I don't think Bret is going to let her go soon. After all of the drama she has been involved in in the house he would have let her go already if he was planning on it. Anyone else still keeping up with this? I've had to keep catching reruns the past several weeks to keep up, but actually caught the newest show yesterday.

Goodbye, Kristy Jo. The only reason that I would have wanted her to stay in the house was so Megan would have had to leave! Kristy Jo was definitely in need of some mental help. I've never seen anyone cry so much! Interesting that Brett mentioned them maybe meeting sometime in the future....he wasn't even done with this show yet!

Brett always seemed strongly attracted to Kristy Jo. Maybe she can come back for Rock of Love III after things fizzle with this season's "winner." ;) I'm not fond of her drama, either, but if he really wants to find love, she seemed to fit with him. Looks like Jessica may be in over her head next week.

I'm sorry but I don't think "cute" when I see daisy. Yuck. Haha. Daisy was "sobbing" this week and it was pathetic. She is not a good actress. It was so forced and fake.

Oh...you know Kristy Jo will be back for season 3...haha. I'm convinved Megan was planted on this show. They haven't mentioned her winning Beauty and the Geek. And if they don't...then something is up. She'll "win" the show and it'll be no big deal when Bret dumps her (or maybe she'll dump him since she just wants t.v. time.) Then Bret will be open for another season of Rock Love.

I think that "girl" has a bit of a "post-op" look about her. A lot like Pam Anderson.

This is a tough show to discuss on this board and I commend everybody that is able to talk about it and still keep it clean.

Personally I like the old looking chick. She's only 32 so she's not really old but compared the other girls who have that just turned 18 look she's a bit out of place.

I haven't bothered really learning their names and give them all the Flavor Flave treatment by giving them new names that are easier to remember.

I've developed some board friendly names for them.

Mom - The older looking girl.
Ziggy - The girl without the eyebrows that Brett liked for some reason.
David - The strange looking girl who calls herself Daisy.
Miss Hoover - The girl that looks like a Sunday School teacher from the neck up.
The Invisible Woman - That other brunette girl who wouldn't stand out if she was the only person in the room.
Dopey - The dumb girl that was on the other show with the dumb girls and the nerds.

Yeah, I loved it when you saw her without makeup on.....I've never seen such over-plucked eyebrows, except on Seinfeld. Anyone here remember when Uncle Leo lost his eyebrows and Elaine used a magic marker to draw him new ones? They made him look mean.

What was it that Brett saw in Christy Jo...aka, the girl without the eyebrows....anyway? She never seemed all that interesting to me, except that she liked to cry and she has restraining orders on two guys.

He said he loves the crazy girls. I think perhaps he has a bit of a hero complex. It's as if he wants her to be such a mess that she needs him to swoop in and make it better. You notice how many times he offered to "fix it with her" instead of letting her go home on her own? Ambre "Mom" is my favorite, too, but I would rather see her escape than "win." I do agree that it would be nice to see him pick someone closer to his age. He hasn't done all that well with the crazy. Maybe it's time he went for a confident, mature woman. But that doesn't make for good TV.

Oh, and not only does Kristy Joe (a Playboy model, along with Megan and Inna) have the restraining orders, but why would they let her on the show when she is still actually married? You think they would require you to prove you are single before doing a show like this? I guess not.

I don't think they really cared about if she was married or not. I'm sure the producers knew and didn't care since it would make for an interesting program. It's pretty obvious they want a "type" for this show. They want mean, girls, of course, because they'll fight at every opportunity. They make sure that those mean girls have damaged girls to pick on. To round out the package they throw in a few morons to keep the show funny.

It is a "Reality" show after all.

I can't believe Kristy Jo left- I was so sure that she would be one of the last two girls there as Bret seemed to care for her so much. On the other hand, I'm very happy she left because she was annoying. As others have said, she will be back.

Daisy is kind of wierd looking but there is something about her that I like. She makes me laugh and I think Bret likes her more than any of the other girls left. I believe she might actually win!

Ambre and Jessica both seem like sweet girls but are both way too innocent for Bret's standards. I don't know why Jessica is still there.

I can not believe that Megan is still there! Does nobody in the house watch television- she won Beauty and the Geek! :shake: I'm glad that Bret almost sent her home last week. I think he's starting to see her true colors.

Sorry, pink, I just can't agree with you about Daisy. I don't know that I've ever been so repulsed and annoyed by someone. My ex-husband just recently got caught up on RoL from TiVo'd episodes, and he emailed me his run-down of what he thought of the girls. I laughed out loud when I read what he wrote for Daisy:

"Ugh. She needs to die." ;)

A litte harsh, perhaps, but can't say I disagree! (all in jest of course)

The sad part is that as much as I like Ambre, and even Jessica, Bret is just not going to be happy with someone like that. I don't know why he picked Jess last time, she was way too normal for him too.

As much as it pains me to say it, I think he'd be happy with Daisy or Destiny. They're just about stupid and skanky enough to suit him.

Kristy Jo is a basket case. :shake: What he saw in her (can you say DRAMA?) is beyond me. Again, the ex's assessment was right on: "So hot. So crazy."

This season is quite the train wreck.

Pink, I'm glad that finally someone other than me admits to liking Daisy on this show! I'm not saying she's beautiful, but she's got a cute way about her. I think she's the epitome of rock-chick! She's just crazy enough to fit in to Brett's lifestyle.

SPOILERS:

I'm so glad that Heather finally pointed out that Megan was on Beauty and the Geek! I was getting worried that no one was ever going to notice. Overall, she is a pretty girl but she was there for the wrong reasons and I'm glad she went home. I think Jessica or Destiny will be going home next.

On another note, I was watching this behind the scenes footage online and Jessica was questioning Daisy is that was her name that her parents gave her. She avoided the question to Megan and Jessica looked at Daisy's luggage and found that her name is actually Vanessa something. Just throwing that out there!

Megan was pretty, but she made that constipated face all the time....and she didn't have much of a personality. I thought it was interesting how she just kept standing in front of Brett after he eliminated her. What was up with that?! I was glad to see her go.

Daisy and her ex were interesting to watch. From the previews, it looks like Daisy will be raked over the coals next week for hiding her living arrangements from everyone. I was glad that Brett ended up keeping her, even though her "news" did change my perception of her somewhat. I still feel that she could be the "one"!

I see him with Heather and I just think he made a huge mistake last time. As much as I preferred Jes, I think he fits with Heather. They seem to be on the same wavelength and very connected. And Heather sticks around for one more show? It makes me think she's really part of the process and they're looking to make it a threesome.

Daisy's a wreck. I thought it was interesting that Megan had a problem that her ex was promoting his bar, but Daisy had no problem that hers was wearing a hat to promo his band. So I looked it up- it's their band together. My theory is that Daisy is not there for Brett but to promote her own band with her boyfriend, and they're still a couple. He was visibly uncomfortable every time Brett asked about the physical relationship. She's a fake, in more than just her appearance.

But then, so is the whole show, I suppose. Is Brett really looking for love? Is anyone really there for Brett? But it's fun to watch. I just hope Daisy gets sent home next. Daisy might not be her real first name, but her last name is De la Hoya. She's Oscar de la Hoya's niece.

I loved when Megan just stood there after being eliminated. Hilarious.

And the school-teacher type girl...what's her name? When she drank to much and was falling all over the place and stuff. I bet her breath smelled great when she ran over and kissed Bret. EWW!

The previews for next week. Anyone else laugh when they were sitting at the table, and I think it was the brunette girl....she threw the drink at Daisy? it made a glass breaking sound...but it was a plastic water bottle. Nice sound effect...haha. Not sure about what Heather threw at her at the end of the preview though.

It doesn't matter who he picks. There WILL end up being a Rock of Love 3.

I see him with Heather and I just think he made a huge mistake last time. As much as I preferred Jes, I think he fits with Heather. They seem to be on the same wavelength and very connected. And Heather sticks around for one more show? It makes me think she's really part of the process and they're looking to make it a threesome.

I agree with you on Heather. They do make a good pair. Wouldn't it be funny if the show pulled a "Flavor of Love" stunt and brought her back as a contestant?! Doesn't seem likely this late in the show, but you just never know with these reality programs.

Heather gets her hair done at my salon and according to her the producers already approached her about a show. She said no, who knows if she'll change her mind though. I think her and Bret are perfect together. I love her she is so funny I love how she got the girls to spill the beans!

I think that Bret and Heather are a great match together as well- I don't know why he didn't just get together with her after Jess dumped him.

Also, Daisy's last name isn't De la hoya. That's the last name she took on as a stage name. Her real name is Vanessa Mossman. If you go to Vh1.com and go to Rock of Love 2, click on behind the scenes videos (picture on top of the other 3) and that say it in the clip entitled Daisy V. Vanessa.:mickey:

Oh wow, really? So if she is Oscar's niece, then is it her mother who is Oscar's sister or is it not by blood relation? I just assumed her father was Oscar's brother when she claimed she was Oscar's niece. Weird. Thanks for the information. My spyware protection always goes off on the VH1 site so I can't look around there without system hassles. Her real name isn't so bad, but if I was going on Rock of Love, I would probably want to change my name, too (haha!).

I'm not really sure- I always thought they Daisy was related to them until I watched that clip. I don't think her real name is bad either. I guess she just thought it wasn't that memorable and she wants to be remembered after the show raps. :mickey:

On her Myspace blog, in the snippet I read on Google because I didn't want to go there, she says her father is Oscar's brother but that her mother uses her maiden name and changed her name to the mother's name, too. I'm not sure of the full explanation, but she still does claim to be a De La Hoya by birth.

I didn't cry but I was worried for Daisy. He must have real feelings for her to keep her after all of those secrets she tried to keep and still is.

I really like Ambre, but I can't see her fitting with Bret. And I don't know why she seems to think it's her responsibility to police the other girls and be the one to report them to Bret. I think she may go home next.

Pink, I have my doubts on Daisy's relations, too. I was waiting to see who would show up as her parents, but it looks like we may never know the truth. My guess is that Daisy wins, and Bret claims to be so in love with her, and then he talks to CC and finds a different story than what she told him, realizes she is using him to promote her band, and dumps her, prompting auditions for ROL 3. I don't believe her. Even her emotional breakdown was so fake and ridiculous. Daisy's there for Daisy and Charles. She's not there for Bret. I was dying for someone to ask what happens when she wins Bret's heart, does she tell Charles to move out then? Or expect Bret to pay Charles's rent somewhere? It's a one BR place. Even with the best intentions, two years is too long to carry an ex. Get a job, Charles. Geez.

Wow....I'd like to know how much of these shows end up on the cutting room floor! When there is so much squeezed into an hour show!

This week was interesting with more of Daisy's story coming out....this girl has quite a history. As far as her uncle being de la Hoya, who cares?

But though Daisy has kept things from everyone, it's interesting that Ambre lied about her own age, which previews show for next week. I've always thought Ambre was the most honest contestant, but we'll see what her story is next week. As far as her and Brett, I can't see them being anything long-term. She's not rock-chick enough.

I was sad to see Jessica go....but she is so sweet and being around Brett's lifestyle would ruin her. I did cry when she was eliminated, because she was so upset.

Ambre is such a trouble maker! She was making me crazy when they were at dinner (her, Brett and Daisy) and she was asking about what Daisy did for a living, if she had debt- what's it her business? Geez! Not that I am a fan of Daisy but she was really atttacking her. I guess she feels she can't win on her own so she needs to break everyone else down.

I had suspected she wasn't 31. Interesting.:thedolls:

Yeah, 31 seemed a stretch. But Bret's well into his forties, and maturity doesn't seem to be a bad thing for a single dad proclaiming to want to get more serious about someone. So why lie?

Also, I'm surprised at the lack of strategy of all the girls. Bret left dinner upset. That was a great time for someone to make points by checking on him. Ambre went after Daisy at the table when she could have been talking up her own strengths to contrast. Did they not watch ROL 1? Bret loves it when they make it all about him. Even if they're fighting, he doesn't seem to mind if they are fighting over him and not about who's shadier. If it comes down to Destiney and Daisy, Destiney has some serious catching up to do. I wish Kristy Joe had stuck around. The drama between a KJ/Daisy final would have been unbelievable.

I'm surprised at the lack of strategy of all the girls.

Actually, it seems that their only strategy is putting the other girls down. Heather is the one that encouraged Ambre to bring up Daisy's mess at dinner. I thought her veiled attempts at asking Daisy about herself were pretty lame. It was obvious she was egging her on....even Brett had to realize that.

I was surprised no one ran after Brett after that dinner fiasco. Even Heather seemed to really tick him off. I thought that even when he told her it was time to leave Las Vegas so he could make his own decisions that he was somewhat abrupt with her.

I wonder who is going to show up as Daisy's family as well. I heard her say somewhere (either on the show or on the extra's on VH1- not sure where) that she didn't have any close family left and that Charle's family (her ex) was the only thing that she had. So that would be very interesting if that is who showed up for her! But I bet it is just an aunt or something of that nature. Also, interesting point. If Daisy really did win what does she think is going to happen to Charles. She is supposedly so close to him but if she wins she has to know that Bret isn't going to let them live together so what does she think is going to happen to Charles? :funny:

I also think that it's wierd that Ambre lied about her age. On the preview they made it seem like she lied on accident. I don't know how you could lie on your age "on accident" unless she does it all the time, but well see what happens.

Regarding Heather, I think she knows that Bret really cares for Daisy and that is the only reason why she minupulated the girls into all attacking Daisy at once. If Heather is as good of "friends" with Bret as he says that they're then she would pretty well know that Ambre and especially Jessica and Destiney are no good for him.

Interesting episode, but not as exciting as the parent's episode on the first show!

Ambre's reason for lying about her age was pretty thin to me. But then again, it could be true.

Wow....no wonder Daisy has so much baggage. The chick has been on her own since she was 15! Hasn't seen her parents in years. It was interesting that they brought on her ex's sister, but she seemed pretty normal. When she first came into the house I thought it was Daisy's mom.

Ambre's reason for lying about her age held up for me. In her line of work, it doesn't pay to be older and she would certainly want to seem younger to get better career opportunities. What doesn't hold for me is her declarations of love for Bret. In a few weeks, sharing his time with so many other girls, she is that in love with him? She doesn't really seem the type to fall that way. And for that matter, he doesn't seem all that attracted to her. She would be the sensible choice, and my preferred choice, but probably not the right choice for Bret. Is she really there for him? Does anyone really come on these shows expecting to fall in love?

Daisy is a mess. She isn't a good choice for anyone, but Bret seems attracted and he may as well go for it, and good luck. I think she's lying about so many things still, and I think she wants to be rescued from her life by a big rich rock star who might help her promote her own interests.

Remember when Destiney accused of her that and she said "my uncle's Oscar de la Hoya" implying that he could bail her out and pay her bills if she was so inclined. But it remains to be seen if a) Vanessa M is related to Oscar at all and b) even if she is, if she is estranged from her family, is it really even an option for her to get money from her uncle? Bret should have been further concerned that her "family" that showed up was her live-in boyfriend's family, instead of feeling placated that they were telling him the truth. Daisy's there to further her own interests, and probably Charles's too. Two bad choices for Bret. Whoever he picks, ROL III is probably already being cast.

I haven't watched too much of this show, but I did catch yesterday's. I just wanted to say RIP to Destiny's dad... I thought it was so nice of them to dedicate the episode to him.
And on another note, Bret must have zero sense at all. It seems like his sole reason for eliminating Destiny was because she wasn't in love with him yet... in my opinion, she was the only one being honest. Sorry but there is no WAY you can truely be in real love with someone that quick. She was the only one being honest.

I thought that was nice what they did for Destiny's dad too. Also, I had a feeling that Destiny wouldn't make it to the end. However, I agree with you. It was especially funny that he spent the whole show saying how he just wanted the girl who would be honest with him, and then he let go the one who was probably being the most honest. He's too old for Daisy. He has had relationships with Daisy types that did not work. If he wants a real relationship, he may have picked someone who can be in that with him. It shocked me. I didn't think Bret had it in him.

Daisy needed his money and wanted the lifestyle but I seriously doubt that she had real feelings for Bret. I actually started to believe that Ambre may be invested with having something with Bret. But I still won't be surprised if it doesn't work out and they start casting for RoL 3.

This whole season (ever since the first episode) I've been rooting for Daisy to win and I really thought that her and Bret would make a good couple. But I felt the same way during the season finale. Bret and Ambre fit well together during their date and then when it came time for Daisy's date it was like a trainwreck. He would ask her simple questions and she would just ramble on about different things and never answer him directly. You could see it in his face that he was enjoying Ambre's company more than Daisy's.

Another thing, I don't know if anybody else noticed but his suit at the final elimination a little too shiny. :funny:

That was quite the suit, wasn't it? I also liked how, on the "meet the parents" episode, they showed that clip of Lacey's dad asking him if he was balding from last season, and then cut to this season and he's greeting the parents without the signature do rag, as if he had something to prove. You know, for his rock star "life style" that Brett is always talking about, he really does seem like a normal kind of guy. Usually, anyway!

I could have seen him with either of those girls. Daisy would have been great arm candy, but that was about as far as that would have gone. She looked ditzier than usual in this final episode....even though I still find her to be a true rock chick.

Ambre seems like she would bring out the best in Brett. She's not as sexy as some of the girls that Brett finds attractive, but she's definitely not unattractive either. I'm interested in seeing where things have gone since the end of taping.

If you caught the end, both he and Ambre said they are together. She is not with someone else. That was only the commercial teaser at the beginning. When she came out, you saw that he planned to let her go early on because he thought she was with someone else, and then he realized she wasn't and the other girl he planned to keep quit, so he ended up keeping Ambre and being glad he did. They seemed very coupled up at the end, though they both did say that they maintain separate lifestyles while planning to keep seeing each other.

No, I guess that was a rumor after all. Although Kristy Joe was funny because she said she was working it out with her ex, that they are in marriage counseling, but then she made it sound as if she just agreed to the counseling to appease the ex and she's still on the fence about it. Either way, she's not ready to jump into an affair with Bret. The show host was confused as to why she, a married woman, was on ROL2, also. She insisted that she was separated and lots of separated people date. Maybe they do. I have no idea. But it's still odd to me, too, that she would be on ROL with all her marital issues in the air.

The Daisy/Heather fight was something else. I wouldn't mess with Heather. Daisy stormed off but did come back to roll her eyes and make faces when Ambre came out. Ambre looked better than ever and she and Bret were all kissy and cuddling. They seemed to fit better than I imagined they would. Unless they're both good at acting the part.
