Help Needed - WDW to Universal

I am looking at a trip to WDW in 2008.
I am going to stay on Disney properity and spend most time at WDW, but I want to spend one day at Universal.
What is the best way to get there?
I don't want to rent a car just for one trip to Universal and back. Or do I?
What would a taxi cost?
Is there any type of bus or shuttle?

Mears (www.mearstransportation.com) offers a shuttle to/from Universal for $16 per person for round trip transportation.

We got a taxi from Pop to US. There were five of us, so I didn't really want to pay the $16 per person. We went to the desk and asked to arrange a taxi (van) to pick us up at a specific time, then went outside at the time and within minutes a van arrived. I think it cost right around $30 with tip.
