DH and I are thinking of taking a trip to WDW in December of '08 between the 9th and the 14th. Will we run into heavy crowds then? I believe that is still within the value season for resort pricing and are anticipating staying at the AKL. If you have been there that time of year please let me know how you liked it.

We went the 8th of December and the 14th to the 16th of December this past year. The crowds on the 14th to the 16th were not too bad (heavy but manageable) but the crowds on the 8th were horrible!!!! It took us over an hour to get out of the Osborne Lights. It was literally wall to wall people with no movement. It was almost scary!!!!

We went Dec.8-15 in '07 and the crowds were not bad at all. We pretty much walked onto every ride. Our longest wait was prob 15 minutes getting onto HM (ride malfunction). The longest wait time we saw for anything was 20 minutes, and we didn't even have to wait that long. DH and I have decided that would be when we go every year from now on. Short lines, beautiful decorations, really nice weather, and still value season!!!

We were there Dec 11-15. Crowds were not bad. Really enjoyed our trip and the weather couldn't have been better.

I've always found the crowds during that period of time to be very manageable! It's my favorite time of year to visit!

We are planning a December '08 trip too. We want to stay at AKL. For that trip, we are planning to do just the one park. We are deciding on dates. I thought between the 3rd and 8th would be good. It is still up in the air. However, we are looking forward to contacting Melissa from MJ for our trip planning.
