We are heading to disney world on the 8. Does anyone know how busy it might be then?

Not that the Marathon crowds make things all that busy anyway, but when they clear out after the event, the parks are heavenly crowd-wise. I love this week! Have a great trip. :balloon:

My wife and I just booked a trip today for the second week in January (Jan 7-11) and we are very excited!! It is just kind of a last minute splurge before school and work starts again.

I was just wondering if anyone could give us an idea of what the crowds might be like at this time?? We have never been in January before but are very excited!!!!! :mickey:

I'll be there the 7th-15th and went their last year around the same time (between the marathon and MLK weekend) and it was not crowded at all. This year should be even better because MLK is one week later. It's very nice! See you there!

From my experience, crowds in January are pretty much nonexistant - which is why DH and I chose January for our trip. Have a wonderful time! :mickey:

I've been down there twice in January. Once was for my birthday on the 12th and the place is practically deserted.

We are going the 11 through the 21st! (7 days, 14 hours, 43 minutes, and 25 seconds till our plane leaves) We normally go in February and the crowds are light. I am hoping for it to be even lighter in January! The only bad thing is that I will be missing 2 days of college. (Darn. :thedolls:) The good news is that I am only taking 2 classes this semester (long story behind this) so it shouldn't be hard to make up. I am so excited I could wet myself! But I won't. ;)

Just as a heads up guys. MLK weekend might be a little busier than normally on that weekend. My school ends our semester on that Thursday, then we have Friday through Tusday off. Because of those extra few days, I'm sure that some of us who could be called "locals" may come that weekend. I've also looked for rooms that weekend on their site and everyone that I have looked for has no rooms left.
