January Rain

Do January rainstorms last for hours? I know in the summer they're usually brief.

I'm trying to plan alternate activites if the rain goes on for hours.

Not normally....
I've lived here all my life, and the rain in January hasn't ever really lasted more than an hour to an hour and a half, but it's normally somewhere around a half hour to 45 minutes. Usually.

Agreed, January rain = short rain, maybe about 20 minutes!
