got a flier from cypress gardens recently. apparently they have changed owners but the former owner is staying on as president/ceo. they have lowered admission prices by $10, lowered parking prices, and the boat tours through the gardens are expected to reopen sometime next year.
ive been to this park 3 times since its reopening in 2004 (i thinkit was 04) and i love it for its old fashioned florida charm. i grew up in florida but somehow had never visited, and was so saddened when it closed down. when it reopened i said im not going to miss it this time!
