Hayden's Magical Character Menagerie - Day 1

Hey everyone,
Well I am back in reality now, but we had a great time, actually I would say it was absolutely perfect. We met a total of 116 characters, but several were repeats we met 62 different characters a pretty respectable number if I do say so myself, anyway I will get into more detail about them in another post.

Day 1:
We hopped in our car about 4am on Sunday Nov 25 and made the 11 hour drive from Greensboro to Orlando. The time went fairly quickly and before we knew it we were there. The first night we stayed off property at the Quality Inn on International Dr. It was nice, not a disney property by any means but still nice and with my wife's coupon it was only $56.95 after tax.
Once we got settled we headed over to downtown disney, but as we pulled into the parking lot our temp hospice nurse called and wanted to go ahead and meet with us. Yeah that way we didn't have to come back to the hotel during one of the parks. So we get back to the hotel she comes up and checks on Hayden and sends on our merry way.
Back at Downtown Disney we head over to Once Upon a Toy where Hayden and I go and make a lightsaber :yoda: while my DW starts stuffing her first box of potato head parts.
Afterwards we head over to Goofy's Candy Company where I get a goofy Icee and DW gets to personalize her own rice krispie treat.
We wandered around a little longer but the crowds were getting thicker so we headed back to the room to get one last good nights sleep before we go and check in at All Star Movies the next morning.
