In case you haven't heard --I wanted to warn anyone driving East or West on I-10 that the interstate is closed and is expected to be closed until at least Dec. 4th.
A gas well blew out last week and they have shut down I-10 on both the east and west bound sides east of Lafayette and before Baton Rouge.
I thought it may be helpful to know in case anyone wanted to take an alternate route prior to the detour and plan accordingly. It will be difficult with the holidays.
Please feel free to post any other potential travel hazards, delays etc in hopes to save anyone travel time..... :drive:
