Yacht Club Room Request

Does anyone have a favorite standard room at the Yacht Club? I am considering faxing a request if there is an overwhelming preference. Thanks and Happy Thanksgiving!

There are some standard rooms that look out over the wedding gazebo - I have asked for those in the past. Most of the rooms around the gazebo are water view, but some have so little direct view of water that they're categorized as standard. I always ask for third floor, too - high enough to get a little view.

A majority of the standard rooms are on the front of the resort, overlooking the convention center roof and parking lot. I would definitely call and have them add a wedding gazebo view request to your reservation. Faxing is okay too, but you have to time it right and most resorts just don't have the time to read through all the faxed in requests. Some resorts don't even pre-assign rooms, they just pull from available inventory when you arrive, so you may want to ask again at check-in.
