Which buildings are preferred ones at Pop?

Thanks strmchsr...but i know from my own experience that the info central on preferred rooms at some of the other allstars is not correct....we stayed at asmo in dalmations and were charged for a preferred room when we asked why we were told the dalmations buildings were now preferred....

I confirmed that information fairly recently, though it certainly can change. If you find anything in Info Central out of date, please let us know ASAP so that we can fix it.

the status of preffered rooms changes frequently since Disney can charge more for them.

At Pop the preffered rooms now include areas of the 50's 60's and 70's buildings

Is this for 2008 rates? We requested a room in the 50's building at Pop for our upcoming trip next month and were charged for a standard room.

We are taking my mom the end of march for her birthday and I would love for her to stay in the 50's bldg, but I can't see paying more because of the location....so we will be staying in 80's or 90's and we will walk over and look at the 50's....thanks for the info JPL

Not all of the rooms in the 50's buildings are preferred location rooms.

Ask when you're making your reservation.

We were at POP in September and had a preferred room.
We had requested a certain area that we stayed in as preferred on a previous trip and were told that the area was no longer in the preferred section and that as of Jan 2007 a preferred room was anything within 500 ft of the main building. They said that it was no longer determined by view or anything else, only proximity to main building.
