Can someone who has been here before please explain to me how this place works? We will probably only use it for breakfast in the morning, but from what I was reading, it mentions you get a "ticket" and are escorted to a table, your ticket gets "stamped" and then you pay your bill at the end plus a 10% gratuity? What does the gratuity cover? Is someone bringing the food to me? Don't I have to get up and order it myself?

Please help!!! Thanks! :mickey:

You pretty much have it right. You are seated at a table by the host/ess and then a server comes to take your drink order. You then head to the station you want to get food from, order, get your ticket stamped and then wait for your food (it's not delivered to your table). You can go to as many stations as you want. You pay based on what's stamped on your ticket and the gratuity once you finish eating. If you order your food to go, you don't have to pay gratuity. We like Pepper Market even though I got a bit mad at them last time we ate there (I stood in line 15 minutes to order a specific item only to find out they didn't have any and couldn't be bothered to put up some sort of sign indicating they were out- I was not a happy person ). Hope you enjoy it!

basically it's like eating in a "food court" type setting but instead of paying at each vendor you have them stamp your ticket and then pay all at once as you leave. The gratuity basically is for the person who takes care of bringing your drinks and clearing empty plates off the table. Beware...portions of some of the items are huge.

Just to add to what has been said, the 10% also covers clearing and washing the plates, silverware and cloth napkin you use. Pepper Market, unlike the other food courts at the moderates and the values, serves it food on "real" plates and silverware, just like at home or a table service restaurant.

So you pretty much have gotten how the process works. I just wanted add that the food is great - never had a bad meal and the staff have always been helpful and polite.

As previously posted some of the portions are quite huge though. The taco salad, calzones and chinese food are a couple of meals unto themselves.:D Hope you enjoy.

It's actually a favorite of ours because of the food. We've even gone there for lunch or dinner when we're not staying at CS. Enjoy.

We probably are only going to use it for breakfast. Usually we'll get lunch at the parks and dinner we got booked at Crystal Palace and the other day we are going to have Garden Grill for lunch at Epcot, so probably a smaller dinner at a TS spot at the MK that night.
