Can you get into park with EMH after regular closing time?

I am planning our Feb. vacation and have some resort dinner reservations. We will be at one park before dinner, then the resort restaurant then would like to go to another park that is open later with the Extra Magic Hours. Do you have to be at that park prior to regular closing to get a wristband or can we come after closing and go into the park showing that we are staying at a Disney resort?

they let us in a whole hr after the EMH had started...we just got our writst bands at the gate upon entering

i doubt policy has changed...but this was my experience a while back :mickey:

There will be wristband distribution CM's at the front gate. They will scan your resort ID, give you a wristband, and send you on your way to some fun in the park!

I asked when I was there and they said you can get a wristband up to an hour before EMH ends.

During the first two hours of Extra Magic is correct. Also - remember you'll need the hopper option if you've been at a different park during that day.
